Two Ambrose Ali University students shot dead in protest

FUOYE shut over “no school fees, no examination’’ protest

Information gathered has confirmed that two students of the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in Edo State have been shot dead during a protest.

The students according to The Eagle Online are protesting the hike in school fees by the management of the institution.

Soldiers said to be at the scene of the protest were reported to have shot into the air to disperse the protesting students.

Two of the students were said to have been hit by bullets and died on the spot.

However, this could not be independently confirmed before press time.
