8-years after divorce, Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo remarried quietly

Ace Yoruba movie actor, Femi Adebayo-Salami, took his fans by surprise when his colleagues in Nollywood industry broke the news of his marriage on social media with his heartthrob, Omotayo Maimunat Sanusi, at a secret location in Lagos.

Femi, became famous after the release of his hit movie, Jelili, in 2014.

It was gathered that the Special Adviser to the Kwara State Governor on Culture and Tourism had been separated from his first wife, Ms Khadijat, eight years ago after she opposed his (Femi Adebayo)’s acting career.

Although, Khadijat, his first wife and mother of his three children had since remarried and addressed as Mrs Balogun.

Meanwhile, the soft-spoken actor begged his fans saying the reason for the quiet wedding was to protect the privacy of his new wife, a US-based partner and a businesswoman.

“The decision is best for us as I have been on the lane before and my wife has never been, I have to protect her privacy at all cost, please we pray for the understanding of our friends and my beloved loyal fans. I appreciate you and please your prayers and support is all we need.”

He thereafter thanked his fans, uninvited colleagues and friends for their support as ever.

“Alhamdulillah. Thank you, everyone, for your prayers, support, spiritually, financially, morally, physically. Ire oni tan ni ile gbogbo wa. I am grateful to everyone that stood through the darkest times, 8-years of divorce, it’s indeed a long time, but God indeed is all knowing and perfect. Peace be unto everyone; my fans thank you.”
