AFRIMA releases schedule for 2016 event

AFRIMA receives 4,816 entries for 2017 awards - Official

The organisers of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) event schedule for the 2016 awards.

  1. AFRIMA Music Village (Friday, November 4):

The one-day AFRIMA Music Village is a festival style open Music concert with performances by top African artistes and AFRIMA 2016 nominees. This event is free entry with AFRIMA T-shirts as gate pass.

 

  1. Africa Music Business Roundtable (Friday November 4):

The roundtable with the theme “Economic Power of Music for a New Africa” will be a discussion platform to interrogate and strategise on the structure of the music industry in Africa while charting a synergistic way forward for development and economic empowerment. It is a platform for business networking and interaction among music professionals, music executives, government officials and other stakeholders in the music, media and financial sectors of Africa and of the world.

 

  1. Media Interviews/Meet & Greet (November 5):

The one-day opportunity to reinforce music artistes’ connection with the public in a dedicated media room and on select radio/TV stations in Nigeria. Some foreign media partners will also be participating.

 

  1. Nominees’ Reception/Party (Saturday November 5):

An event to fete all the 2016 AFRIMA Nominees in the evening

 

  1. AFRIMA Grand Awards Ceremony (Sunday November 6, 2016)

 

5b. Awards ‘After Party’ (SUNDAY November 6):

A throw-down to celebrate the night with winners, music stars, select guests and followers of the music industry.
