Badaru appoints 5 additional permanent secretaries

Democracy Day: Badaru urges Jigawa people to stay indoors and pray

Gov. Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa has approved the appointments of five additional permanent secretaries.

The Head of the State Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa, made this known in Dutse on Tuesday.

He named the appointees as Sabo Babura, Sarki Jahun, Lawan Nadada, Ali Dandidi and Murtala Kwalam.

Inuwa said the appointment of the permanent secretaries was purely on merit, competence and personal integrity.

Recall that the governor had on March 24 appointed eight permanent secretaries.

They included Gambo Ibrahim, Nasir Mahmud, Musa Diginsa, Bello Madaka, Dr M.A Kainuwa, Lawan Ringim, Aliyu Shungurun and Hauwa Zakari.

The governor had also sacked 14 permanent secretaries on July 14.
