Benijamz drops music video ‘Shine’

Nigerian upcoming singer, Okafor Benjamin musically known as Benijamz has recently dropped his new music video entitled, ‘Shine’ featuring Skuki which has been gaining massive airplay.

According to the undergraduate of Laspotech, his music career took a step up when his story changed in 2014 after he went for a record label competition and released a song under the competition and then kept going for shows.

Talking about his new music video, Benijamz said: “I use my situations and things around me to write my music. What inspired me is what happens in my life. Commenting further about his career, the promising singer went down memory lane to narrate his journey into music world, said: “I actually wrote the song in 2016 but due to some reasons, it was delayed and the song focused more on my past situation”.

”I was bearing one funny nickname before, but when the CEO of Naira Bet, Otunba Akin Alabi saw me freestyling on stage at YECO seminar at Eko Hotel precisely in March, I was given a lifeline afterwards and was told to come to Over The Top Entertainment studio and record but on getting, the producers were like never with that kind of name”
