Cadbury Nigeria gets new MD as Roy Naaman resigns

 

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has appointed Mr Muhammad Amir Shamsi as the new Managing Director of the company.

The appointment follows the resignation of the incumbent, Mr Roy Naaman.

According to a statement from the company duly signed by its Director of Corporate and Government Affairs, Bala Yesufu and Company Secretary, Fola Akande, Amir Shamsi assumes office on 1st February, 2017.

Until his appointment, Shamsi is a Director, Innovation Kids Wholesome, Global Biscuits, East Hanover, USA.

He also possessed vast experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods at international level.

He was Head of New Categories & Gum & Candy, West Africa for USA based Mondelez International.

Muhammad Amir Shamsi also had stints as Brand Manager at O.J Foods, and Oral Care section of Glaxosmithkline Consumer Healthcare.
