Dissolve ASUU-LASU exco, Concerned Lecturers urge ASUU

The Lagos State University (LASU) on Tuesday said it had closed admission of students for the 2017/2018 academic session following last week’s shortlisting of 3,500 successful candidates.

Mr Adekoya Martins, the LASU Acting Head, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations of the institution, disclosed this to our reporter in Lagos.

“The management hereby informs all candidates who chose LASU and were not shortlisted for admission that the admission process for the 2017/2018 academic session is closed,’’ he said

According to him, candidates, parents, guardians and the general public should be wary of `unscrupulous elements’ who may want to use the name of the institution to exploit unsuspecting candidates.

“For emphasis, anybody who engages in transaction with any individual or group of individuals on behalf of the university does so at his or her own risk as LASU will not be liable for such transactions.”
