Delta poll: Appeal court upheld Okowa’s victory
United Bank for Africa

A Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Thursday upheld the victory of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the Governor of Delta State.

Okowa who is the candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) emerged winner of the April 11 governorship election.

The ruling by the Court of Appeal was sequel to the appeal filed by the candidate of the Labour Party for the election, Chief Great Ogboru, and that of the All Progressives Congress, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor.
