EKEDC restores power supply to Ikoyi, environs

The management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) on Tuesday attributed the power outage in Orile and Surulere areas of Lagos to a multiple fault on 11 KV feeder covering the area.

Mr Godwin Idemudia, the company’s General Manager, Corporate Communications, in a statement in Lagos, urged consumers in the affected areas to bear with the situation.

“We apologise for the power outage being experienced by our customers at Kernnel Street, Imam Dauda, Johnson Street, Bode Thomas, Baco Feeder in Orile and Surulere areas.

“We appeal to all affected by the outage to please bear with the situation while the outage lasts.

“Optimal service delivery and customer satisfaction would always be our guiding principle,’’ Idemudia said.

He said that the company’s team of engineers and technicians were already on ground to rectify the fault and restore electricity supply to the areas.
