EXMAN announces judges for inaugural awards

The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has announced the names of the judges for the inaugural edition of the EXMAN Awards.

The judges will be led by Mr. Idorenyen (Idy) Enang, who is currently CEO at Corporate Shepherds Limited. Idy, an accomplished Marketing Practitioner was Managing Director, L’Oreal Central West Africa (2013-2015) and Managing Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa (2010-2012). Other judges include Mrs. Bimbo Alabi, ADVAN 2nd Vice President; Steve Babaeko, CEO, X3M Ideas; Sam Osunsoko, MD, Leo Burnett Lagos and Mr. Ikechukwu Obiaya, Dean School of Media and Communications, Pan African University.

 

The association has also appointed Gbenga Badejo & Co. as the Auditors to the award.

 

Announcing the list of judges, the Chairmen of the Award Committee, Mr. Ayo Elias noted that the first EXMAN Awards for Excellence is designed to identify and celebrate outstanding member agencies and the work they have done in the experiential marketing industry. He explained that awards will be handed out in twelve different categories including a Life Time Award. Mr. Gill Kemani, a member of the Award Committee noted that the Committee had received over sixty-five (65) entries from EXMAN Member agencies across eleven award categories.

 

The EXMAN President, Dr. Rotimi Olaniyan stated that the award is a milestone in the journey of the Experiential Marketing Industry in Nigeria. According to him, rewarding best practice in the industry will help to entrench standards and provide the required encouragement for members. He commended members of the association for the encouraging response to the awards and appreciated the clients for providing an opportunity to serve.

 

The Award ceremony will take place from 6.00pm on Saturday 29th July at the Civic Centre, Lagos. The award evening will be part of the schedule of events which will be kicked off by the EXMAN AGM on Friday 28th of July in Lagos.
