Federal Poly Ile-Oluji holds maiden matriculation ceremony Friday

Varsity dismisses lecturer for altering results

The management of the Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, has announced Friday, February 10, 2017, as the date for its Maiden Matriculation Ceremony for first set of National Diploma Students to the institution.

327 students were admitted for the two years National Diploma Programme for 2016/2017 academic session in five departments; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics, Accountancy and Statistics Department.

According to information made available to newsmen on Tuesday by Management of the Polytechnic, the event will take place at School Hall within the institution’s take-off site located at Oke-Alafia street in Ile-Oluji.

NEWSVERGE recalled that former President Goodluck Jonathan, established the Polytechnic in March 2015 alongside other three federal polytechnics in the country.

Our Correspondent reports that the polytechnic commenced academic activities in February 2016 with admission of over 100 students for sub- National Diploma programmes in five departments.
