Ikoyi Club 1938 switches off Christmas lights

As a mark to end the yuletide funfair season and face the real business of year 2017, the Ikoyi Club 1938 switched off her Christmas Lights.

The Vice Chairman of the Club, Mr Olusola Adeosun, who performed the mark in the presence of the club Chairman, Major General Mufutau Balogun, the Entertainment Chairman, Mr Toyin Leo-Olagbaiye and other members of the Club thanked God for the gift of live to see the end of 2016 yuletide year.

Adeosun who was addressing the members enumerated the achievement the Club in the year 2016 and urged them to be more diligent in the New Year even as the year holds so many promises for the Club.

Also, Major General Mufutau Balogun, Chairman of the Club enjoined members not to relent in their good deeds even as they continue to uphold the tenet of the Club.

Balogun, however, expressed optimism that there is hope for Nigeria in 2017 despite the economic hardship in the country.

Members of the Club were thereafter treated to light refreshments and full enjoyment.
