Presidential visit renewed our hopes - Dapchi parents

Reports reaching NEWSVERGE says Nigeria’s terrorist group, Boko Haram has released some of the abducted Dapchi schoolgirls.

The reports confirmed that songs of jubilation erupted from Dapchi town in Yobe State over the purported return  on Wednesday.

Although, the heavy presence of security personnel in the town, make it difficult for reporters to gain access into the town.

Some of the parents of the missing students, who spoke with our correspondent in Yobe, confirmed that their abducted children have returned.

However, details of the girls’ return are still sketchy while the exact number of those that returned have yet to be ascertained.

More details to come….
