Nigerians need Insurance more during economic recession - NCRIB boss

Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc will be playing host to Insurance Brokers under the aegis of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) during its December edition of NCRIB Members’ Evening today.

According to Mr. Ayodele Ayeleso, Head of Communications, the Members’ evening will hold at the Council’s Secretariat in Lagos on Tuesday.

The hosting of Insurance Brokers would be quite symbolic, given the fact that it would be the last edition of the Council’s Members evening in 2016 and Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc will be playing host to over 300 Brokers within Lagos and its environ.

Definitely, Mr. Ayeleso, said that the quarterly meeting would be a win-win event for both Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc and Insurance Brokers as it would facilitate harmonious relationship between both parties. “It is a known fact that insurance brokers constitute a crucial chain in the insurance industry in Nigeria given the enormous clientele controlled by them.” He added.

The Mutual Benefit’s team is expected to be led to the event by its Managing Director, Mr. Segun Omosehin, a Chartered Insurer and consummate insurance practitioner who is expected to intimate Brokers with the policy direction of the company ahead of 2017 calendar year, among other issues.

The Company has established a reputation for excellent delivery of insurance products and services, especially in special risks, such as oil & energy, engineering, aviation, and industrial risk management.

The company is licensed to underwrite all classes of insurance, among them fire, special perils, consequential loss, marine, motor and special risks, and others.

The Mutual Benefits Plc team will be received by the President of the NCRIB, Mr. Kayode Okunoren on behalf of the Governing Board of the Council. And it is hoped that the event will be utilized to appraise Brokers with the new direction of the company, especially in the year 2017.
