Buhari signs "Not Too Young To Run" bill into law

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), in collaboration with a group, Buhari Victory Mobilisers (BVM), says it is set to launch a book on the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Adminstration.

The President of NYCN, Murtala Garba said this during a news conference on Thursday in Abuja.

Book titled: “2 Years of Change: The Buhari/Osinbajo Success Story, will highlight the `200 Grand Achievements of the Buhari-led administration.

“President Buhari has during his campaigns promised to restore security, fight corruption and revive the economy.

“Today, we can say with every sense of responsibility and objectivity that the president and his team have delivered on those promises.

“The symbol and arrow head of this common sense revolution, President Buhari and his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, deserve the unalloyed support of all Nigerians.

“This is in their avowed commitment to take Nigeria to the promise land,’’ Garba said.

He said the current administration, in just two years, had engendered a socio-economic transformation that had restored hope to Nigerians

Also speaking at the event, the National Coordinator of BVM, Chief Law Imadu, said the y Nigeria youths had not forgotten the contributions of some patriotic Nigerians.

These Nigerians, he noted, worked tirelessly to ensure that the country got the type of leadership it deserved.

Imadu said BVM, in collaboration with NYCN, was set to honour such individuals who had been the agents of change that brought Nigeria out of the dark era of impunity, looting and injustice.

“It is in the light of the above that we have decided to host a Buhari/Osinbajo Solidarity Rally tagged: “Celebrating Change and the Agents of Change – The Buhari/Osinbajo Success Story.’’

“We shall also unveil and launch the Compendium of the Grand Achievements of the Buhari/Osinbajo administration on Aug. 15 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja,’’ Imadu said.
