PenCom chides PFAs over redeployment of HoDs without approval

The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has charged Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) to obtain approval before redeploying Head of Departments from one department to another.

The Commission in a circular entitled: “Recruitment of Top Management/Redeployment of Head of Department”, issued on November 2, 2016 and signed by its Head, Surveillance Department, Muhammad Umar.

According to Umar, the redeployment of top management staff out of key department without prior approval, has become a source of concern as the skill set required to head different departments may vary.

It also urged the operators to file necessary documents such as curriculum vitea, advertisement of vacancy, summary of shortlisted candidates and more.
