South African rapper beats Flavour, others to win 1st award at MTV MAMA 2016

South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest on Saturday, beat Nigeria’s Flavour, Stonebwoy and Mafikizolo to win the award, at the 2016 MAMA awards.

‘God is good all the time,’ he said as he picked up the gong.

The 2016 MAMAs was hosted by Yemi Alade, Bonang Matheba and Nomzamo.

Just after the performance of Korede Bello, AY came on stage to present the Best Live Act award.
