Galaxy TV will broadcast current news from Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world and will be on DStv channel 258. The channel will be available to Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access subscribers.

“We are deeply committed to Africa and support the growth of original African programming. The addition of Galaxy TV to our FTA genre will complement and boost our local content offering on our platform”, he said.

The 24-hour channel will feature a wide range of programming and shows ranging from news, business, sports, entertainment and other local programmes.

Galaxy TV will be available from 7 July 2016 to Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access subscribers on DStv.
