Asala said this during a media chat that, the application connects taxi drivers and passengers, allowing them to experience a fast, convenient and safe ride, with just a tap of the finger.

She explained that not everyone can use the application, it only available for Android, iOS, Windows Phones, Blackberry and Firefox.

“Easy Taxi is making it continent, that is, if you look at Lagos traffic. It’s not as regulated as other market.

“Easy Taxi is also an application that is gives users the assurance that the derivers on the application have the licenses, which confirmed them to be registered and legally operating.”

The Managing Director explained that instead of leaving your house to wait at the bus stop to get a cab, the company’s services makes it more convenient for the people to sit in their homes or offices to control a taxi pick them at their location to any destination within Lagos or Abuja metropolis.

“Passengers can request for a taxi while at home and it will take the cab man less than 20 minutes and take them to where want to go, that is more convenient for the passengers.”

“It is more convenient for the drivers if the drivers can use technology to improve their livelihood, they can use technology to earn more for their family, that is success”, she said.

Adaora Asala further said that, it’s more convenient for the drivers because he doesn’t need to keep circling around wasting his fuel, also finding somebody on the street to pick up. Most drivers can’t afford buying fuel and not making money from it.

Easy Taxi drivers, on the other hand, according to her just need to park somewhere and wait for a request to come in rather than wasting fuel chasing passengers.

“Passengers request for coming to them. It already making different in the life of drivers and passengers.

“We don’t own fleets of cars; the drivers are our business partners in the venture”, she stated.

It is worthy of note that Easy Taxi is two years in Nigeria and only operate in Lagos and Abuja.
