The Minister of Transport, Rotimi Ameachi, on Saturday said that the Governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyeson Wike, ran to head the state to steal money and so desperate that he can sell his mother.

Ameachi, on radio programme monitored in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and tweeted by Rivers Watch on its Twitter handle, said former President Goodluck Jonathan hated Rivers State people so much that he could not release $1 billion to clean Ogoniland.‎

He said: “Jonathan hated Rivers people so much that ordinary $1 billion to clean up Ogoniland he refused to pay.”

The former Governor of Rivers State said he was ready for Wike in the rerun National and State Assembly elections on March 19.

Amaechi said: “Nyesom wike is here to steal money.

“He was my Chief of Staff‎.

“We will chase Wike’s boys out of the water now we have Dakuku Peterside as DG NIMASA.

“People still want me back as governor.‎

“I will be here till the March 19 re-run election.

“Let’s see what Wike can do.

“Let’s face it man to man.

“If you see the money stolen by Nyesom Wike in the Ministry of Education, you will be shocked.

“Everyday you wake up to find out that Wike has killed somebody.‎”

Speaking on the administration of Wike since coming into office, Amaechi said: “Wike has collected N50 billion.

“What has he done with the money?

“By this time when I was sworn in, I was already commissioning projects.

“Wike is so desperate that he can sell his mother.

“On the day of the re-run, I am ready for Wike. They should come out with their guns, we are ready for them.”
