Lagos hosts 65th General Assembly of Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria

Ambode hails Buhari's declaration of June 12 new Democracy Day

Lagos State Government has announced that it will be hosting the 65th General Assembly /Annual General Meeting of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) scheduled for next week.

A statement by the General Manager, Lagos Television (LTV), Mr. Deji Balogun, said that the event will commence with an international summit slated for Monday, August 22nd, 2016 at De Renaissance Hotel, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja by 9:00am.

It noted further that the 65th General Assembly and Annual General Meeting will be coming up on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016 at the same venue by 9.00am.

According to the statement, the Federal Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, will be the Special Guest of Honour while Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode is the Chief Host.
