Also the recent scale-up of the Community Base Health Insurance Scheme is a well thought initiative’’ Olajide said.

Dr. Olajide pleaded with the state government to replicate the comprehensive health centre built at Totoro, Owu in all local government and local government council development areas, describing it as ‘’World Class Model’’ in structure.

He added that government needs to act swiftly to end the current strike actions embarked upon by the Doctors in the employ of the state government, saying that well motivation, payment of allowance to the members (Doctors) would ‘’nip the impending ones in the bud’’ and encourage them to be a first class citizens of the state.
