Coalition of Registered Political Parties adopts Ize-Iyamu

Ahead of September 28 governorship election in Edo State, the Coalition of Registered Political Parties, Edo State chapter has adopted the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu for the election.

A statement by the State Coordinator of the CRPP, Dr. Samson Isibor said the adoption of Pastor Ize-Iyamu was based on his pedigree as a Pastor, Farmer, Lawyer and Administrator, saying that he has more to offer the people of Edo State.

He said, “Pastor Ize- Iyamu apart from being a man of God is a focused leader. With his experience in government and the business world, he is the only person among those who are vying for the position that can deliver Edo State from the shackle of hunger and poverty.

“With his Simple Agenda manifesto, we believe in it because it will benefit the masses of Edo people and I therefore, call on the people not to waste their votes on the APC candidate, Godwin Obaseki. They should vote for Pastor Ize-Iyamu on Saturday because he is the only one that can take the state out of the current economic woes.

He also advised the PDP to watch out for governorship candidates of other parties in the race masquerading as candidates, saying that they have sold out their agents to the APC.
