Sallah: Ajomale congratulates Muslims, calls for unity

The Lagos State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomole, has congratulated all Muslims in the state and across the country for the great opportunity given to them by the Almighty Allah to witness and celebrate yet another sallah.

In a congratulatory message, signed by his Media Adviser, Peter Ajayi, Ajomale calls on Muslims to emulate and exemplify Prophet Muhammed in faith and character, by praying for love, peace and unity of Nigeria.   Ajomale opined that “Nigeria’s promised land is reachable only if everyone embraces peace and unity.”

He also seizes this opportunity to commend the acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Ibrahim Magu, and his team for their strenuous efforts in fighting the hydra headed monster, corruption, in the country, most especially their ability to recover about N436 billion and other properties from corrupt individuals within eight months.
He thereby calls on the anti corruption agency to work with relevant agencies to fast track the processes of prosecution of established cases of corruption to serve as deterrent for others.

He added that corruption is a cankerworm that has eaten so deep into the fabrics of the nation’s development, and also taken Nigeria backward among the comity of nations, saying that to restore the lost glory of Nigeria, all hands must be on deck, not minding our geographical locations and political affiliation.
