Fun as Saheed Osupa thrills Ikoyi Club 1938 at Ileya

Nigerian Fuji musician, Akorede Babatunde Okunola also known by stage name, Saheed Osupa, thrilled members of Lagos elitists club, Ikoyi Club 1938, at the 2017 Ileya celebration.

The event full of fun was graced by Mr Babatunde Akinleye, Club Chairman, flanked by the General Committee Members of the Club, past Chairmen, and other invited guests.

The Ileya dance which took place at the Club lawn, started at about 10pm and ended on a good note as members were treated to “asun” meat, drinks and good music from the Fuji Icon, Saheed Osupa.

On September 29, 1938, Ikoyi Club officially came into being through the merger of the European Club and Lagos Golf Club. The 79th anniversary event is a weeklong activities beginning from Monday, September 25 and culminating with a family fun day and bazaar on Independence Day, Sunday October 1.

The club chairman, Akinleye, thanked members for their steadfastness and commitment in striving to make Ikoyi Club, the number one family club in the country.
