Buhari is in “very competent hands” – Lai Mohammed

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Wednesday assured Nigerians that there is no cause for alarm over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health.

Briefing State House Correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting, Mohammed, underscored that the President is in very competent hands in the UK, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

“On the issue of Mr President’s health, Mr President is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm,” the Minister said.

In the same vein, the minister stated that the budget is being reconciled and will be signed in due course.

In his word, “Ministries, Departments and Agencies are still going through their budgets and they are coordinating with the Minister of Budget and National Planning.”
