Promo: 13 Fidelity Bank customers win N15 million cash prizes

Fidelity Bank Plc says it has rewarded 171 customers with N105 million in its just concluded ‘Get Alert in Millions Savings Promo’ aimed at promoting financial inclusion.

Mr Nnamdi Okonkwo, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, said this at the 9th and final prize presentation of the promo in Lagos.

Okonkwo, who was represented by Chijioke Ugochukwu, the bank’s Executive Director, Shared Services, said 108 customers also got consolation prizes.

He said that the promotion was aimed at promoting savings culture.

He said that the initiative was one of the most successful promo in the Nigerian banking industry, introduced to improve the lives of citizenry.

Okonkwo said that the bank, through the promotion, had empowered many of its customers.

He said that the contributions and feedback from the bank’s customers during the promo went a long way in making the campaign a huge success.

“Our customers, honestly, are very excited about our promos, because we keep our promise of monetary and consolation prizes without failing, from start to finish,” he said.

Okonkwo assured the customers that the bank would soon kick start another promo.

He said that the draws were conducted under the close supervision of the Consumer Protection Council, National Lottery Regulatory Commission and representatives of the Lagos State Lotteries Board to ensure transparency.

Our correspondent reports that the bank, at the presentation ceremony, also gave out N20 million to lucky customers.

Mr Alex Malomo Shaibu, one of the star prize winners who won N3 million, commended the bank for the empowerment initiative.

Shaibu, who deals in solar energy, said that the money would expand his business.
