In a letter of commendation signed by captain Tarnorgu general secretary of ATSSSAN, the union said it was rare for workers to openly appreciate officers in position of authority over handling of affairs in government MDAs especially in a sensitive ministry like aviation.

“ATSSSAN said the aviation ministry under her watch, has become more socially and administratively responsible to its onerous responsibilities to stakeholders and Nigerians “we are particularly happy with your in-exhaustive capacity to quietly shoulder tasks and seamlessly carry along social partners for the common good of the industry”.

According to ATSSSAN, maintaining standards crucial to safety in aviation adding that Hajia Bello took lenty in her regulatory overnight especially on unsavoury policies that may derail the good intentions of government to instil scarcity into the industry.

It commended her for addressing the issue of rightful placement and insistence on agencies to comply with the implementation if 8 years tenure limit for grade level 17 and equivalent.

ATSSSAN noted that the sector will soon leave a sigh of relief due to the permanent secretary’s administrative and diplomatic shuttle with the NNPC to ensure the production of Jet A-1 in Nigeria.
