19 ships discharging petrol other items at Lagos port – NPA

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday said that 19 ships at the Lagos ports were discharging petroleum products and food stuff.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to our reporter in Lagos.

It listed the contents of the ship as general cargo, bulk wheat, petrol, frozen fish, bulk salt, base oil, butane gas and container.

It said that 10 other ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with containers, bulk wheat, and bulk clinker.

The authority said it was expecting 19 other ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Oct. 8 to Oct. 21.

According to NPA, the ships contained bulk wheat, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk malt, petrol, general cargo, bulk salt and palm fatty.

They are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 19 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Oct. 7 to Oct. 21.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to our reporter in Lagos on Wednesday.

According to the NPA, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

The publication indicates that the ships contain bulk sugar, bulk wheat, base oil, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk malt, petrol and palm fatty.

NPA said that another 10 ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk wheat, container, petrol and bulk clinker.

Also, the organisation said that 18 other ships were at the ports discharging bulk wheat, petrol, frozen fish, butane gas, bulk salt and base oil.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 15 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Oct. 2 to Oct. 10.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to our reporter in Lagos on Friday.

According to it, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

The publication said that the ships contained bulk sugar, bulk wheat, base oil, container, bulk salt, general cargo frozen fish and soya beans.

NPA reports that another 12 ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with bulk wheat, container, petrol and bulk salt.

Also, the organisation said that 17 other ships are at the ports discharging container, bulk wheat, petrol, frozen fish, general cargo, bulk gypsum, maize and bulk sugar.
