BREAKING: Air Force plane crashed in Adamawa

NEWSVERGE gathered that a Nigerian Air Force Plane, NAF 801, has crashed in Hong, Adamawa State capital, in the northeast region of Nigeria.

Colonel Rabe Abubakar, the Director of Defense Information for the Nigerian Armed Forces, confirmed the plane crash citing that the plane was returning from an interdicted mission when it went down due to bad weather.

Only the pilot is said to have died in the accident.

The Chief of Air Staff has set up a panel to investigate the cause of the crash.
