Sovereign Trust Insurance’s spokesperson joins GNI

Oyinkansola Sobande, Assistant Corporate Communications & Brand Management Department, Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc has joined Great Nigeria Insurance Plc (GNI) as the Head of Corporate Communications & Brand Management.

Oyinkansola, replaced Mr. Tunde Lawanson at GNI who also has moved to FBN Holdings Plc as Marketing Service Manager.

Until her appointment with GNI, Oyinkansola, managed corporate information relating to the Sovereign Trust Insurance’s image, project the company’s image positively and present the brand in the best light possible.

The energetic lady act as the company’s primary spokesperson as regards PR, assisting in organizing the company’s Annual General Meetings and other ceremonial functions, designed an acceptable and enduring image management mechanism and ensure maintenance of Brand Equity.

She review and contribute to all written documents generated from the Department, work closely with the Research and Strategy unit to ensure that the STI brand maintains constant relevance in the industry. Assist in the facilitation of periodic and strategic road shows for products developed in the organization, assist in organizing Stakeholders’ fora and other industry related activities

She also helped STI identified the opportunities and threats within the operating environment.

Oyinkansola Sobande, was also part of the brain that helped STI identify strategic Corporate Socially Responsibility (CSR) initiative that will position the organization positively to its publics as a socially responsible corporate entity.
