Victor Moses ready for West Ham return
Moses could be back for either Saturday’s league clash with Liverpool or the FA Cup fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 9
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic insists he will wait till the right moment before handing his Nigerian charge Victor Moses the chance to make his return from injury.
Moses, currently on a season-long loan from Chelsea, limped off in the 37th minute of his side’s Barclays English Premier League fixture against Manchester United at Old Trafford on December 5 following a challenge from Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The 25-year-old has missed four Premier League fixtures (versus Stoke, Swansea, Aston Villa and Southampton) involving West Ham since picking up the injury at Old Trafford.
Bilic says Moses could be back for either Saturday’s league clash with Liverpool or the FA Cup fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 9.
“It is a great boost for us and he will be involved in the game. Jelavic is training today and Victor Moses and Winston Reid are back.
“There is a small chance that Moses and Reid will be in the squad but more likely for the FA Cup game against Wolves [on January 9].
“The situation with injuries looks very bright now. When we have a full squad we have a really good team and enough players.
“I don’t think we are going to be very active in this transfer window unless something exceptional comes along. We are happy,” Bilic told reporters.
Moses has scored once in 10 league appearances for the Hammers this term.
