Mambilla Crisis: Stakeholders blame Taraba police commissioner for fueling crisis

The Police, on Sunday, said that 11 suspected cultists arrested for terrorising residents of Badagry were undergoing interrogation ahead of being charged to court.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt that the suspects, believed to be members of a group known as “one million-boys”, were apprehended while trying to rob residents of Toga area of Badagry.

The suspects, who claimed to be students, were arrested by vigilante youths in the area on Friday and the timely arrival of the police prevented them from being lynched by an angry mob.

The police apprehended the 11 suspects and took them to the Badagry Police Station.

A police source told NAN that the suspects would be properly interrogated and the culpable ones among them would be charged.
