Ekiti APC raises the alarm over Fayose’s ‘treasonable’ actions
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has urged security agents to closely watch Governor Ayo Fayose in his treasonable acts threatening the survival of democracy in Nigeria.
Reacting to Fayose’s seditious remarks threatening to bring President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration down,
Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, in a press statement, on Monday, said the governor must have been acting under psychological stress that had denied him emotional sanity.
While appealing to Nigerians to bear with the people of Ekiti State, the APC said that Fayose was being haunted by his alleged sordid and criminal past which is now under scrutiny
“We want to appeal to Nigerians around the world to see Fayose as a special breed, with a special emotional case among Ekiti people and so he should be treated as a special man whose actions should not be equated to Ekiti standard of behaviour.
“We shall still urge the security agencies to watch the governor over his subversive activities within and outside the country and to act now to bring him under the law to account for his actions.
“We had earlier alerted the security agencies that Fayose stockpiled arms in the Government House with hundreds of criminals already trained in handling arms. The arms and ammunition are still there.
