The minister stated this on Friday in Jos when he paid a courtesy visit on Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau.

Mohammed said that he was in the state to assess the state of digitisation process, as Plateau was chosen as a pilot state.

He said the digitisation project would go a long way in giving quality pictures, create jobs for over 20,000 engineers and technicians, among others.

The minister said the project would allow better interaction between the government and the governed.

He said the Federal Government would ensure that 600,000 set up boxes were available before the digitisation pilot scheme takes off next month.

Mohammed commended Lalong for his efforts to restore peace in the state.

Responding, Lalong said his administration would support Federal Government’s efforts to realise the project. (NAN)
