Nigerian ace singer, Nomoreloss is dead
Popular singer and songwriter, Olumuyiwa Osinuga, popularly called Nomoreloss, is dead.
According to reports, the ‘This Year’ crooner died on Monday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Opebi, Lagos state.
Although the exact cause of his death is yet to be known, he was said to have died after an ailment.
Joyce Ize-Iyamu, his manager, when contacted confirmed that the singer died today, Monday, March 21, 2016.
Nomoreloss who was born in the late 70’s entered public consciousness in 2002 when he featured in Ruggedman’s classic cut ‘Ehen’. Prior to that he was a presenter on the music TV show ‘Groovoidz’.
While making a name for himself as a gifted singer, Nomoreloss also shot music videos for many Nigerian singers at the time.
He is married to Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP Phoenix, Adeola Osinuga, in 2008, blessed with a baby girl on Saturday, January 15, 2011.
Though there were rumours that Nomoreloss and Phoenix had separated, the late singer debunked the rumour in an interview with Encomium Magazine.
The singer’s last major performance was at the August edition of Afropolitan Vibes.
He was on the bill with singers Waje, and Venus Bushfire. On October 2, 2015, he organized his own show ‘Back To Stage’ at Freedom Park.
In 2012 Nomoreloss wrote the biggest song of singer Jaywon’s career titled ‘This Year.’ In June 2015 he released the album ‘Grass to Grace’. In 2014 he dropped the album ‘Standing ‘, and ‘Then & Now’. His debut album was ‘Let Them Say’ was released in 2006 which featured the hit singles ‘Iyawo Asiko’ and ‘Ololufe’.
