PDP has gone into extinction – APC
An All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart in Fofure Local Government Area of Adamawa state, Barrister Aliyu Boya, on Sunday described the People Democratic Party (PDP) as a party that might ceased to exist in the country.
Speaking with journalists in Yola, Boya, during a courtesy visit after he got the Chairmanship candidature ticket of the party with a wide margin to defeat three other aspirants in the just concluded Local Government primaries election conducted on Saturday in Fofure.
According to him, PDP is now having three factions and any political party with such problem cannot win any election regardless of the forth coming Local Government elections in the state.
“PDP is no more, how can the party win elections in the kind of crisis and divisions they have here and there in the country”. Boya said.
He also adjudged Senator Jibrilla Bindow to be the best Governor Adamawa ever produced since it was under Gongola state, owing to the pace of development experienced in the state in less than a year he assumed office.
Boya however promised to use the arable nature of Fofure LGA to change the state as area is the second biggest LGA in the entire country with two international market that produces rice and cows.
Assuring APC and all other opposition parties of working together if he finally becomes the Chairman.
