Henrietta Kosoko to be bury in Delta today

Jide Kosoko’s late wife Henrietta will be buried in her home town Abraka, Delta State on Saturday.

Newsverge Correspondent reports learnt that burial Committee changed the venue from Atan Cemetery, Yaba based on her family request.

Henrietta’s family from Abraka on Thursday directed Burial Committee to bring her corpse to Abraka for proper burial in compliance with Urhobo tradition. The family disclosed that Jide Kosoko did not pay her dowry, so she was not married to the actor.

A statement released by Head Communications, Burial Committee, Yomi Fabiyi  after  Lying-in-State on Friday  at her Bariga residence.

The statement reads: “  The Body of Henrietta Kosoko just left her residence after LYING-in-STATE and now on its way to Abraka, DELTA for her final journey home. She will be buried in few hours. We apologize for the inconveniences the change in schedule and plans has caused anyone. We thank you all for your support and understanding.”

Henrietta Kosoko died last week after brief illness. She was survived by three children.

With the death of Henrietta who was also an actress makes it the third wife the Popular Yoruba actor, Jide Kosoko will lose.
