Nigeria movie icon, Bukky Ajayi is dead

Veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Ajayi, has died.

According to Punch, the actress was said to have passed away on Wednesday, The Punch reports.

While the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, initial reports suggest she died after a battle with heart-related issues.

The late actress was honoured with the ‘Industry Merit Award’ at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in March.

She was 82.
