Ondo: APC reads riot act to party members

APC member angry over extension of party’s NWC members’ tenure, heads to court

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ondo State chapter on Monday, read out riot act to members in the state ahead of the governorship election.

State Chairman, Mr Isaacs Kekemeke, speaking at a meeting between the party’s Executive Council and the aspirants in the coming governorship election in Akure, where about 10 contenders were present

He warned that members must guide themselves against misconduct during elections.

Kekemeke, directed all the aspirants under the platform of the APC to adhere strictly to the guidelines of the elections.

He also solicited for unity among the party executives and the contenders.

He however challenged the aspirants on the guidelines for the conduct of all the governorship aspirants of the party.

Meanwhile, the two aspirants under the party’s umbrella, Mr. Olusola Oke, and Mr. Paul Akintelure, expressed their readiness for the primary election, as well as the governorship election.

The duo promised to abide work and conducts themselves according to the party’s guidelines.
