Aromolaran who contested in the senior category of the on-going preliminary rounds of the 2016 Cowbellpedia Mathematics Television Quiz Show explained that his love for Mathematics started early from his Primary School days at Ilesa.
He added that the subject, which scares a lot of students, comes naturally to him. “It is my pain killer. Anytime I am stressed up, I simply took my Mathematics textbook and work up a sum, and that is it. To me, Mathematics is fun, plenty of fun. And anytime, I am not working mathematics, I hang out in my mummy’s shop,” he said.
He also praised his teacher and the school management which he said provided a conducive atmosphere for talents to boom among the students.
Aromolaran, one of the eight that had a perfect score in the qualifying examination, expressed confidence of a good outing in the competition. He wants to study Mechanical engineering and hopes to invent cheaper electricity for the benefit of the nation.
He equally wants to make his parents and Osun state proud by coming top in this year’s competition. “This is my first time in the Cowbellpedia Mathematics Competition and I want to make the best of it. The competition is tough, but only the tough can get to the top,” he told journalists in Lagos.
