Kwara NDLEA arrests man with N9.8m fake naira notes

The Kwara state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a man with about N9.8m fake naira notes.

The arrest was made at Jebba, when the suspect was in transit heading for Borno state.

The fake naira notes were nearly stacked inside cartons of noodles apparently in disguise and to beat security checks.

However, luck ran out on the suspect when the drug law enforcement agents insisted in checking the contents of the ‘noodles carton’.

The suspect has been taken into custody for further interrogation and subsequent prosecution.
