Ondo: Gani Dauda a good choice for Oke, AD – Akoko youth
The Akoko Youths Alliance AYA, a youth political movement in Ondo State has commended the choice of Gani Dauda as running mate to Alliance for Democracy AD governorship candidate Olusola Oke.
A statement by the group through its publicity secretary, Ayokunle Oloye, said that the Oke and Dauda combination is a perfect match to win elections in the state.
Oloye said the combination has balanced ethnic and religion equation in the state.
Dauda, born in Irun Akoko is a Muslim. He represented Akoko North East and Akoko North West Federal constituency between 2011-2015.
The youths stressed that Dauda will make a good deputy governor based on his political antecedents.
The youths said Dauda experience as a former House of Representative member placed him at advantage in delivering people oriented policies.
“Dauda has always enjoys a good followership cutting across the Akoko lands, his achievements as a lawmaker has also distinguished him out as a credible leader who cares on delivering dividends of democracy for his people.
Dauda who is also a notable leader of thought in Akoko land who had build bridges across all groups of Akoko people.
The youths called on people and residents of Akoko land to mobilize massive supports for Olusola Oke and his deputy Gani Dauda by voting for the progressive alliance at the poll.
The youths assured that it will continue to mobilize both partisan and non partisan young people in the northern senatorial district for the Alliance for Democracy and it’s candidates at the poll.
