Firm warns LASG, others over unauthorised dealing on its property
The management of a Lagos-based real estate company, Oyetubo Joko-Tade Estate Resources Ltd, has sent a warning signal to the Lagos state government and members of the public against dealing with unauthorized persons in respect of their vast expanse of land located at Sangotedo, in Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Lagos.According to a director in the company, Otunba Babatunde Rahman, the warning is meant to inform the public that seem to be unaware that the power of attorney granted to one Ms Folashade Ogundare over the company land has since been revoked.
In a letter to the Lagos State Registrar of Titles, Lands Bureau date October 17, 2016, the holding company owned by the Oyemade Royal Family informed the state government that it has disengaged the services of one Ms Folashade Ogundare who was formerly invested with the power of attorney over the company land located in Sangotedo area of the state.
The letter further stated that the service of Ms Ogundare as attorney of the company has since been disengaged and that legal action has also been taken to enforce same.
Otunba Babatunde also noted that the company owned by the Oyemade Royal Family and that Mrs Ogundare have been the secretary and attorney of the holden company until recently when allegations of fund mismanagement were leveled against her. “She has also charged some members of our family to court over trump up allegation on the issue. The court has since restated their innocence and discharges them. While we continue to fight for our right to manage our rightful possession, we urge the public to always relate with the family directly in respect of our land.”

“The company and the family has now nominated the under signed persons as it accredited representative with whom the Bureau and the public should deal and relate with in respect to all transactions relating to any part of the company’s 201 hectares of land”, Otunba Babatunde added.
