Golden Chance Lotto Chair urges Nigerians to keep faith with Buhari, rewards agents
The Chairman of Golden Chance Lotto Company, Chief Idowu Obasa, has urged Nigerians to keep faith with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, despite the economic hardship in the country.
Obasa, who disclosed this on Monday while presenting cheques to 35 best principal agents of the company, said that the country can only be better only if the people keep working hard and believe the government to turn things around.
The lotto company also rewarded its five overall best agents with all expense paid trip to the United Arab Emirate.
The group members were given their boarding passes and tickets at the podium while a host of winners were handed cheques of various sums.
The group is expected back in the country on the October 30, 2016.
The Chairman said, “you can see today that people are being rewarded for hard work and they have worked hard to achieve what they have today. This has inspired them to work harder to achieve more and not allow the upcoming ones to overtake them.”
Speaking on the need for the reward, Chief Obasa said that the rewards is in line with the company’s policy to delight its agents and encourage them to do more.
“Although, I am not happy that some agents from far away stations like Port Harcourt, Kogi, Abuja, Benue and a few of the states are unable to make it here now, but all you agents who are here worked hard to become some of the best agents in the Winners Golden Bet family.
“Those who have sold N120 million in a month, if you calculate how much commission has gone into their pockets also, you can imagine why they will be smiling to their banks today.
“But that is the minimum; for those who are going to Dubai because they have sold more than those of you who are collecting cheques today. The next time, if you outsell those who are getting the Dubai ticket today, you will be among those going to Dubai.
“I want to assure you that in the near future, you will be winning, not just trips to Dubai, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, we will be giving away houses as prizes next year.”
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues going to Dubai, Oluwafemi James Adejuwon, otherwise known as Scooba, thanked the company for a promise fulfilled and urged his other colleagues who are not on the trip to be more hardworking so as to enjoy their labour for the company.
Scooba, who is travelling alongside his wife said, “I feel so good today. It is many years’ journey and I am happy Golden Chance Lotto Company fulfilled its promise. I know things are currently not easy in the country because of recession but for a company at a time like this to recognize best five and send them on a trip to Dubai… we thanked the company.”
