Always rewards Winners of #MyFutureStartsToday essay competition

Hundred lucky winners have emerged from the Always #MyFutureStartsToday essay competition. The competition which was opened to girls between the ages 11 and 16 to write on #MyFurtureStartsToday: My Dream Career was organized in an attempt to inspire girls to achieve their dreams.

The award ceremony which took place at Methodist Girls’ High School, Yaba saw the winners receive prizes in form of educational grants worth N100, 000 each.

Present at the event was a Media and Technology Entrepreneur, founder of Bellanaija, Uche Pedro who shared her success stories and inspired the girls on the validity of their dreams and the fact that they could achieve anything they set out to achieve.

Winners at the event could not contain their joy for the motivation Always has given to them through the #MyFutureStartsToday initiative.

“I want to thank Always. I now believe I can achieve anything I set out to achieve as a girl,” said one of the winners.

The Always #MyFutureStartsToday initiative started in August this year with a viral video that showcased stories of some girls and the challenges they faced, and will end with a mentorship programme P&G is organising for young girls in partnership with WIMBIZ.
