JUST IN: Senate asks Buhari to sack SGF, Babachir Lawal

The Nigeria Senate on Wednesday asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

The Senate made the call on a day President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to present the 2017 Budget to the National Assembly.

Lawal was accused of having awarded a N200 million contract to his own company.

The Senate also demanded the prosecution of Mr. Babachir Lawal.
