Royal Life Group holds maiden AGM, rolls out new savings schemes

The management of Royal Life Group, a financial solution institution for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has confirmed its readiness to roll out new schemes that would further enhance the benefits of its numerous customers.

Some of the new products, according to the Managing Director of the company, Mr David Omitoyin, include ‘Pikin’ Savings Account, General Savings Account and Royal Life Online platform.

Omitoyin made this disclosure during the maiden edition of the company’s annual general meeting held at its corporate headquarters in Ogun State on Wednesday.

According to him, “It has been very challenging, given that most of our customers are the informal set of people, the uneducated.

“God has been helping us. We understood that we need to come to their level, and they appreciate us for that. It has also increases their loyalty and trust in our organisation”.

The company which prides itself as providers of financial solutions said the new savings schemes will help the customers save for the children’s educational needs.

Some of the customers expressed their satisfaction with the level of support received so far for their businesses through the one-year-old budding financial institution.

A customer, Deaconess Olagoke said, “We are happy for them, they have impacted our business since arrival last year.”

Shittu also eulogised the efforts and truthfulness of the Managing Director.

He however, advised the firm to be very careful and vigilant in dealing with their customers whom he described as multifaceted.

The MD said the organisation has a dream of metamorphosing into a microfinance bank in about three to four years time.

He noted that the organisation will be expanding its operations to Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja in the coming months.
