Ace filmmaker, producer and director of rib cracking comedy ‘ATM’, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen’s good works are really speaking for themselves as his first major TV series ‘Beyond Your Sight’ gets African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) nomination.
‘Beyond Your Sight’, a Nigerian Police Public Relations Department image TV series which was created, produced and directed by Lancelot followed his blockbuster, Invasion1897, which got four nominations from the same AMVCA last year, making him one of the most rounded motion picture practitioner in Nigeria.
Beyond Your Sight will be fighting it out with Funke Akindele’s Jennifer’s Diary, Sokhulu and Partners Season 3 by Roberta Durrant, Duplicity by Delmwa Deshi Kura and Cedric Ndilima’s Beneath the Lies for the best Television Series drama at the 2017 AMVCA.
It has become a norm that there is hardly any award platform year in year out that does not find a Lancelot’s work worthy of consideration.
His comedy extraordinaire, ATM, which is billed for screening on the 29th of January 2017 at the Denton Black Film Festival had more than 8 weeks of impressive run in Nigerian cinemas after its official release on Friday May 13, 2016. A run which saw the comedy flick winning the Best Comedy Film at the 2016 Abuja International Film Festival.
The movie will also screen in Dallas during the valentine, before moving to other cities like Austin Tx, and Houston before the London screening.
