Association lauds U.S. President Trump’s effort to assist in ending B’ Haram

A socio-cultural group under the aegis of Kubaku Area Development Association (KADA) in n Borno on has applauded U.S President Donald Trump’s willingness to assist Nigeria end Boko Haram.

Newsverge report that Kubaku is the umbrella body of the various communities in Chibok.

The National Secretary of the association, Mr Muhammad Askira, gave the commendation, in an interview with Newsverge, in Maiduguri on Tuesday.

Askira said Chibok communities were impressed with Trump’s willingness to supply weapon to Nigeria to rescue the remaining 126 girls that were still in the hands of their abductors.

“We are forever greatful to President Trump for this gesture. It has further rekindled the hope of parent that very soon they will be reunited with their children.

“We are also grateful to President Muhammadu Buhari who has brought back the respect and honour of our country in the eyes of the world.

“Mr Tump wanted to deal with Buhari because he trusts that our president is willing to end the scourge of insurgency that is troubling not only Nigeria but also our neighbouring African nations,” he said.
